Made from Grenache and the indigenous Cencibel grape, this spectacularly rich, concentrated Spanish red was aged one year in both French and American oak barrels. An impressive effort, it boasts a dense ruby/purple color in addition to a complex bouquet of smoke, cedar wood, blackberries, black currants, high quality toast, and spice box. It possesses a Bordeaux-like elegance and complexity, but the generosity and texture of a southern Rhone.
