This deeply-colored, opulent effort reveals notable concentration in its super-ripe dark fruit, chocolate, spice and raisin flavors. It is best consumed over the next few years. Prima Mano is a selection of the estate’s finest lots and is released only in the best vintages. Most of the vineyards used for this cuv?e are 70+ years old. California’s Mark Shannon flexes his winemaking muscles in Puglia with this barrique-aged reserve wine. He pumps out dried rosemary, thyme and smells that resemble those fish-shaped crackers backed by plenty of rich fruit.
