An estate new to me, the Abbaye de Tholomies’ 2005 Minervois offers a lovely nose of fresh strawberry, red raspberry, Provencal herbs, and a smoky-resinous note I often associate with its appellation. Savory, bright, and well-balanced on the palate, it trails off just a bit in a slightly drying finish.
