The 2011 Contra a Parede is a selection of their oldest vines from the Salnés Valley matured for four years in vat in contact with fine lees. It's surprisingly young and lively, fresh, with a light color, far away from the initial vintages that were much more marked by the lees and had a more oxidative profile. In fact this feels much younger than what it is, and it's subtle, elegant and clean, more mainstream if you like. The palate is balanced and elegant, very tasty, supple, ending with a saline twist. 2,000 bottles produced.
