The 2006 Veigadares is composed of 85% Albarino, 10% Treixadura, and 5% Loureiro with 35% of the wine fermented and aged for 6 months in French oak with twice weekly batonnage. Medium straw-colored, the wine has an enticing bouquet of citrus, spring flowers, and lemon meringue. This leads to a creamy-textured wine with dry, ripe flavors, excellent balance, good integration of the wood, and a lengthy finish. Drink this tasty effort over the next 1-2 years.
