The 2020 Pinot Noir Barrel Select comes from the El Jabalí vineyard, was made with 10% whole clusters and matured in 45% new oak. It has a medium ruby-purple color and loads of black and red cherry fruit with savory accents of graphite, tar, mushrooms and pipe tobacco. Medium-bodied, chalky and ultra refreshing, it offers detailed, layered flavors despite its broody aromatics, and unfurls impressively over time in the glass, offering structural harmony, intoxicating perfume and length. 502 cases of this gorgeous Pinot Noir were made.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Barrel Select has a medium ruby-purple color and a nose of pomegranate and rhubarb with tones of iodine, rose petals and citrus peel. The medium-bodied palate is firm, chalky and fresh, finishing uplifted and bright. 284 cases were made.

The 2015 Pinot Noir Barrel Select reveals a sweet bouquet of black cherry, strawberry, spice and flowers. On the palate, the wine is supple and medium to full-bodied, with a fleshy core of fruit, savory structuring tannins and juicy acids. This should make for attractive drinking over the next 6 or 7 years, and it may even improve with a little bottle age.

Mostly destemmed (75%) and seeing 25% new French oak, the 2013 Pinot Noir Barrel Select comes from the la Encantada Vineyard and is equal parts 667 and 777 clones. It shows straight-up classic Pinot Noir aromas and flavors of strawberries, raspberries, spice-box and dried flowers, with medium-bodied richness, no hard edges and a supple, seamlessness that keeps you coming back to the glass. This beauty is loaded with character and should evolve gracefully over the coming 6-8 years.
