Dense and layered, with lots of roasted fig, blackberry pate de fruit and plum sauce flavors that stay defined thanks to lively ganache, espresso and anise notes throughout. The finish is very fleshy, but has lovely mouthfeel, with really polished structure sailing through. Rich and dark, delivering Kenya AA coffee, chocolate and roasted mesquite notes, but this is fresh and pure too, with delicious, silky plum, blackberry and black currant fruit that all glides through the full-bodied finish. A dark, exotic style, with richly textured mocha, espresso, fig paste and macerated currant fruit backed by a very long, fleshy, toasty finish. Still needs to absorb some of its toast, so cellar for maximum effect.
