Luigi Di Tuccio's 2013 Falanghina exhibits loads of ripe, yellow fruit with apricot and tropical notes at the back. The starfish on the label suggests that this white wine is engineered as a basic, easy-quaffing companion to fresh fish dishes. Yet, the nose shows a much bigger, creamier style that you may not originally expect. Honeydew melon, Golden Delicious apple and poached pear are followed by lighter tones of chopped mint and crushed mineral.
