Velvety yet sturdy, showing nuance and complexity, even though still youthfully tight. The dark cherry, cinnamon and violet bouquet, and the more plummy, even mouth with its semisweet chocolate accents are solid and pleasing. This is a wine that you will either find exciting and exotic or overbearing and odd. Sensuous, musky and redolent of Asian spicebox scents, it hits you like a blast of heavy perfume.
