Composed of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot, the 2010 Alliance Cabernet Merlot has a medium to deep garnet-purple color and aromas of warm blackberries, red currants and black currants with nuances of roses, ground cinnamon and eucalypt. Full-bodied and generously fruited in the mouth, it has a medium level of finely grained tannins and refreshing acidity that carries the minted black fruited through to a long finish. Blended of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot, the 2009 Alliance Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot has a deep garnet color with a hint of purple and aromas of crushed black currants and blackberries with nuances of dried Mediterranean herbs plus moss covered logs. Medium to full-bodied, with a good amount of expressive fruit, it has a very crisp level of acid and medium-firm, chewy tannins, finishing long. Drink it now to 2015. 2008 Alliance Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot provides a medium garnet color and lifted aromas of kirsch and warm black currant plus cloves and a touch of eucalypt.
