The delightful 2012 Moscato Ra'is (500 ml) is a sweet and floral dessert wine that offers good complexity. Those fragrant Moscato aromas are backed by honey, dried fruit, caramel and a touch of musky pressed rose. Nutty, toasted notes and resin give this dessert wine more weight at the back. The mouthfeel is creamy and thick with enough acidity to keep it fresh.

Sicily is home to some of the best Italian dessert wines made today. The Noto subzone, located on the eastern side of the island, has many Moscato vineyards for the production of sweet, generous, sun-ripened wines like this.
