The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Left Bank (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) displays an inky/ruby/purple color along with attractive blueberry and black raspberry fruit, no hard edges, lots of glycerin, a rich, full-bodied mouthfeel, and no sense of heat or heaviness. It is another wine that makes a mockery of those who claim high alcohol wines cannot be matched with food, or are fatiguing to drink. This 2004 has brilliant vibrancy and uplift, no doubt due to the impressive terroir(s) used by Les Behrens. Enjoy it over the next 10-15+ years.
