The medium ruby-colored 1999 Santenay Vieilles Vignes reveals lovely aromas of plums and black cherries. It possesses good depth of dark cherry and blackberry fruit, and has a silky-textured, medium body that leads to a firm yet appealing finish. Drink it over the next 4 years.
