Deep garnet-purple colored the 2011 Tempranillo shows off notes of crushed raspberries and black cherries over suggestions of dusty earth, tea and black pepper. Light to medium-bodied, it gives mouth-filling, juicy, red berry flavors with a nice, savory edge supported by crisp acid and a low to medium level of chewy tannins. It finishes with good persistence. Drink it now to 2016.

Deep garnet purple colored, the 2009 Tempranillo has pronounced aromas of ripe, freshly crushed black raspberries, black plums and blackberries over forest floor and ground cumin plus a toasty whiff. Full-bodied, it has a medium level of coarsely grained, chewy tannins, crisp acid and a long fruity finish. Perfectly enjoyable now, it should keep to 2014.
