The 2010 Cyan 8 Months comes from the Pago de Valdefinjas vineyard planted in 1980 and sees eight months in oak. There is a touch of over-ripeness on the nose, with prune scents infusing the lifted creme de cassis and blueberry jam aromas. The palate is full-bodied and very ripe with grippy tannins. There is a lot of flavor at the front, but the back end seems forced and lacks finesse. Drink now.
