The 2010 Transcampas Sauvignon Blanc reveals an aromatic array of herbs, cut grass, baking spices, and citrus. Slightly narrow on the palate and in need of greater depth, it is nevertheless a tasty effort that can be enjoyed over the next 12-18 months. The 2009 Transcampas Sauvignon Blanc (100%) was raised in stainless steel. Medium straw-colored, the nose displays fresh herbs, cut grass, citrus, and gooseberry. This is followed by a wine with very good concentration, good balance, and a refreshing finish. It, too, is meant for drinking over the next 12-18 months.
