The 2007 Pinot Noir spent seven months in new French oak. It gives up an attractive perfume of smoke, black cherry, black raspberry, and spice box. Elegant on the palate, it has plenty of silky-textured fruit, excellent balance, and a pure finish. It will benefit from 2-3 years of additional bottle age to round out and will offer prime drinking from 2011 to 2019. Bodegas Hispano Suizas was founded in 1999 with 7 hectares devoted to the indigenous Bobal grape and the remaining 48 to international varieties.Importer: Steve Miles Selections, Denver, CO; tel.
