The 2009 Tantum Ergo Rosado was made from 100% Pinot Noir aged sur lie for 15 months. Salmon pink in color, it offers up tantalizing aromas of cherry blossom and strawberry. This sets the stage for a dry, savory, balanced, lengthy sparkling wine that should prove versatile at the table. Drink it over the next 2-3 years.
The Bodegas Hispano Suizas project began in 1999 and consists of 55 hectares (121 acres) in Requena in the inland portion of the Valencia region. The current releases include two outstanding sparkling wines.
