2013 saw a later and somewhat challenging harvest, and the wines do not have the concentration or ripeness of years like 2012 or 2015. The 2013 Reserva has good freshness and fine tannins and is very drinkable, perfect for the short term. Better with food. 250,000 bottles produced.

The 2009 Reserva has more stuffing and balance with notes of roasted coffee, ripe plums and cherries with plenty of tannins in the palate which are balanced by juicy fruit and enough acidity leaving just a slightly dry finish. The 2008 Reserva has ripe blackberry and Morello on the bouquet with a touch of orange sorbet. The palate is simple with chewy tannins and a rather predictable, toasty, blackberry finish that is light and agreeable, but not particularly memorable. The 2001 Reserva is medium crimson-colored with an attractive perfume of cedar, spice box, tobacco, leather, and blackberry. This leads to a medium-bodied wine with a solid core of fruit, firm structure, good depth and concentration, and moderate length. It should evolve for 2-3 years and drink well through 2020.
