The 2006 Bodegas Zifar Seleccion was sourced from 40-year-old vines and spent 18 months in barrel. It gives up a bouquet of cedar, Asian spices, leather, violets, and black cherry. Smooth-textured, balanced, and elegant, it has enough structure to evolve for 2-3 years but can be enjoyed now through 2018. No known American importer.
