The 2001 Serra Docile, made from the Coda di Volpe grape, reveals copious quantities of tropical fruit and peach-like aromas and flavors. Made from the indigenous Coda di Volpe grape, this creamy-textured, Burgundian-styled effort was barrel-fermented then moved to tank prior to bottling. It boasts a gorgeous nose of orange marmalade intermixed with tropical fruit and minerals. Enjoy this ripe, medium-bodied, delicious offering over the next 1-2 years.
