With fruit from the estate's Gauggiole vineyard, which is surrounded by thick forests and shrubs, the Castiglion del Bosco 2018 Rosso di Montalcino has a slightly wild element of rosemary essence or crushed wildflower. This is a pretty and delicate wine with the bright fruit intensity and acidity to pair with a cheesy cacio e pepe pasta. Some 35,000 bottles were produced.
