An assemblage of 60% Roussanne, 30% Clairette and 10% Grenache Blanc, the 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Edmee Le Roy is a clean, crisp, refreshing bottle of white wine. That may not sound like Chateauneuf, but that's how this one comes across, with hints of pear and tangerine, but dominated by lime-like notes and a touch of pith on the finish.

The 2019 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Edmee Le Roy is mainly Roussanne, with smaller amounts of Clairette and Grenache Blanc. Tank fermented and matured, it offers up scents of ripe pears and honey, backed by hints of melon and citrus. Medium to full-bodied, with a sense of rich weightiness and a slightly creamy texture, it's a big wine that's not overdone, finishing with hints of lime and brined citrus zest.
