A very pretty wine, the 2021 Fiano di Avellino Romano Clelia offers a creamy, lean-bodied approach with an explosion of different citrus aromas, from tangerine to preserved lemon. Slate and wet rock also appear. There is a floral note that falls somewhere on the verbena or lantana spectrum, and the wine covers the palate with its silky intensity. Some 6,000 bottles were released.
