The Coppo 2022 Barbera d'Asti l'Avvocata reveals a mid-weight approach and a very pretty deep ruby color. This wine shows a lot of primary character and gives you a clear window onto the varietal with tart berry flavors, natural spice and crushed limestone. I can't imagine a better pairing to informal foods like flatbread with cheese, sausage and red peppers from a wood-burning oven. Production is 90,000 bottles.
