The 2022 Chardonnay is all class. It unleashes a mouthwatering torrent of stone fruit flavor on the palate, filling it with a rising tide of chalky phenolics, piercing fruit flavor, intense acidity, crushed nuts and brine. Awesome. The Tapanappa 2021 Chardonnay is layered with concentrated Chardonnay flavor: curry leaf, yellow peach, salted preserved lemons and pink grapefruit, even. The phenolics in the mouth are grippy and attractive, and the wine fairly streams over the tongue and spools out to a long and lingering finish. Yes! Excellent.

Pale polished-brass in hue, the 2018 Chardonnay offers up scents of grilled toast and citrus fruit. It's classic Chardonnay, with enough French oak to define it, lees contact to enrich the medium-bodied palate and a long, lemon-lime curd finish. Despite the warmth of the season, it's bright, crisp and mouthwatering.

The 2005 Chardonnay “Piccadilly Valley” is medium straw-colored with an attractive aromatic array of mineral, toasty oak, apple, white peach, and pear. The wine has excellent acidity and good depth of flavor. It is reminiscent of a top-quality Premier Cru Chablis from a strong vintage. Drink it over the next several years.
