The 2016 Morey Saint Denis Villages has a crisp blackberry and raspberry-scented bouquet with light undergrowth/tobacco aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle grip on the entry. Quite firm in the mouth, it's maybe a little conservative at the moment, although it possesses decent length. Give this a couple of years once bottled.

The 2015 Morey-Saint-Denis Villages has a clean and correct bouquet, a little saturnine in the glass, black fruit reluctantly unfolding but never quite getting out of second gear. The palate is better with sappy black fruit (slight return) and well-judged acidity. It is what you might describe as a "solid" Morey-Saint-Denis, foursquare and correct though missing a little sustain on the finish.

The 2014 Morey-Saint-Denis Villages has a crisp nose of blackberry and bilberry, not intense but "neat 'n tidy". The palate is pointed on the entry: here a mixture of red and black fruit, quite piquant in the mouth with a taut and linear finish. Perhaps in the context of Prune Amiot's other 2014s, this feels just a tad "workmanlike".
