I tasted three 2009 Crozes-Hermitage wines. The 2009 Crozes-Hermitage is a front end-loaded, fruit-forward effort revealing lots of black olive, black cherry, strawberry and licorice characteristics. This soft Crozes is best consumed over the next 4-5 years. From their holdings in three major appellations, St.-Joseph, Cornas and Crozes-Hermitage, Michelas St.-Gemms produces an impressive array of wines. Moreover, prices are extremely reasonable.Importer: Grape News Importing, Chicago, IL; tel. (773) 665-1155
