The 2020 Bernkasteler Graben Riesling Sp?tlese is clear and ripe on the reductive nose that indicates a certain touch of botrytis. Round and elegant on the palate, this is a lush yet delicate Sp?tlese with fine acidity and a crystalline, stimulating finish. 8% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted from AP 24 21 in November 2021.

The 2019 Bernkasteler Graben Riesling Sp?tlese is coolish and precise on the crystalline and concentrated nose. Piquant and salty on the palate, this is a straight, fresh, piquant and persistently salty Graben Sp?tlese with spectacular grip and length. Not highly complex but with a lot of music on the palate. Tasted at the domain in September 2020.

The 2018 Bernkasteler Graben Riesling Sp?tlese is very delicate and intense on the aromatic and matured nose that displays ripe and elegant fruit intermixed with delicate slatey notes but is already pretty advanced for a two-year-old Mosel Riesling from a top vineyard. On the palate, this is a stimulatingly salty, generously fruity and mouth-filling picture-book Sp?tlese based on perfectly ripe, golden-pink Riesling grapes. It is beautifully fresh and piquant as well as pure on the finish that reveals this crystalline and stimulatingly salty character of a great Mosel Riesling. Tasted at the domain in September 2020.
