The 2009 Angosto is made up of equal proportions of Malbec, Garnacha Tintorera, Syrah, Graciano, and Cabernet Franc aged for 10 months in 500-liter French oak. It offers up a complex perfume made more so by a hint of balsamic. Racy raspberries enliven the palate with succulent flavor and vibrant acidity. This classy offering will evolve for 1-2 years but can be approached now. Bodega El Angosto’s new releases are outstanding.Importer: Hidalgo Imports, Miami, FL; Tel. (305) 477-7717
