Round, lifted and bright, with full berry, cassis and plum aromas. The palate is round and the body full, while the flavor profile includes roasted blackberry, coffee, chocolate and coconut. A full and chewy wine that comes across nice given the troubles of the ’08 vintage. ——M.S.(3/1/2011)—— 88

Inky, dark, charred and serious, and it only gets better as it opens with air. The palate has a smooth, deep, comfortable feel and the flavors are sweet, fruity, creamy and proper for Malbec. Chocolaty and rich on the finish. A very nice wine made for near-term drinking. ——M.S.(7/1/2010)—— 90
