The Feudo Montoni 2021 Sicilia Catarratto Masso (with a logo that affirms organic certification on the back label) has fresh fruit and citrus with honeydew melon and chopped mint or thyme. This is silky and mildly creamy on the palate. A total of 34,800 bottles were produced.

The Feudo Montoni 2020 Sicilia Catarratto Masso is very true to the grape, flaunting some floral notes, some sweet lemon and tropical fruit. Like the other wines in this portfolio, the fruit used is certified organic. The wine is taut and bright, and although it is engineered for easy and carefree drinking, the Masso certainly offers a lot of sunny Sicilian character. Production is 29,000 bottles.

The 2018 Sicilia Catarratto Masso is a glossy and polished wine that offers very pretty aromas of stone fruit, yellow rose and even a touch of rubber or latex that I always find attractive when I encounter it in white wines. This is a lean to mid-weight wine with a pretty touch of bitter Sicilian almond on the close.

Freshly cut grass and wildflowers come to the front of the 2017 Sicilia Catarratto del Masso. This wine smells like summer, a breezy but sunny Sicilian summer at that. Feudo Montoni is located in the Agrigento area at the center of the island with inland winds that softly caress the low rolling hills. This is a lovely white wine for informal occasions.
