The 2008 Nero d'Avola is a tasty, entry-level offering. Bright red fruit, flowers and mint all meld together nicely in this plump, juicy Nero d'Avola. With time in the glass the aromas emerge with even greater clarity. This is a great introduction to one of Sicily's most important indigenous grapes. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2016.
