Wow! This wine is the result of a new project pioneered by the well-known Italian wine broker Marc de Grazia. Italian wine fans should not be dismayed as de Grazia has not left Italy. He has decided to branch out because of his enthusiasm for Argentina's old vine Malbec. This wine is a dark purple-colored wine with a knock-out nose of blackberries, black raspberries, and spice. In the mouth, it is rich and medium-bodied, with a creamy texture, a juicy, succulent, highly-extracted mid-palate, and a blockbuster finish. Pure and rich, with a naturally-textured feel on the palate, this wine is accessible, but promises to evolve nicely for 5 or more years. In conjunction with three other individuals, de Grazia's debut release is indeed an impressive wine. I may have actually underrated it since I only tasted it once, but readers may be sure I will be buying this wine for my own cellar.Various American importers.
