It exhibits an enticing nose of cedar, black cherry, black raspberry, plum, and incense. Plush on the palate, it has layered flavors, plenty of spicy, savory notes, enough ripe tannin to support 1-2 years of additional cellaring, and a fruit-filled finish. The Filus (meaning “friendship”) brand was started in 2005 and currently produces 200,000 cases of which 60% go to the USA. Alberto Antonini has been the winemaking consultant since the inception of the project.Importer: Classic Wine of California, Ceres, CA; tel. (209) 538-3131
