The 2007 Chardonnay has a moderate intensity of stone fruits, ripe apples and green mango. Some creaminess. Nice silky texture on the palate with good medium body weight and concentration. Medium-long finish. Drink now through 2012. Firestick’s 2002 Chardonnay is a Macon-Villages look-alike from South Australia. Orange marmalade, citrus, white peach, and honeysuckle scents emerge from the glass of this well-made, richly fruity, medium-bodied, clean, pure, tasty white. Enjoy it over the next year.
