The 2008 Syrah Les Collines Vineyard was aged in a mix of new French and seasoned Hungarian oak. It is more expressive than the Syrah Blend with greater density, concentration, and succulence of fruit. In the glass it displays outstanding grip, mouth-coating flavors, and superb length. Give it another 2-3 years to fully blossom and drink it from 2014 to 2023. French ex-pat Marie-Eve Gilla is a partner and winemaker of Forgeron Cellars, located in Walla Walla.
