After all these releases from 2017, it's nice to travel a few more years back in time. The Giacomo Fenocchio 2015 Barolo Riserva Bussia 90 dì reveals a bright ruby color with good vitality and energy. Aromas of dried cherry, cassis and sweet plum lift from the bouquet, towing along delicate tones of crushed stone and dried licorice root. It feels like the wine could give more of itself, but like so many, it's probably just a question of giving it more time to age. This was a release of approximately 4,000 bottles.
