Glaymond’s 2008 The Distance Shiraz gives a very deep garnet-purple color and pronounced blueberry and mulberry aromas with some kirsch, tree bark, cassia and peppercorns. Very full, and richly fruited on the palate, it has medium-firm grainy tannins, crisp acid and a long warm-fruited finish. Drinking now it should keep to 2016+. The deep purple-colored 2007 Shiraz The Distance offers a brooding bouquet of smoke, meat, game, and blueberry.
