Made with organic fruit, the Gradis'Ciutta 2019 Collio Pinot Grigio shows a very faint copper or golden hue. The wine's appearance reflects the natural color of ripening Pinot Grigio grapes that shine with copper-like intensity at harvest time. The wine is authentic and true to the grape, with apple, pear and cantaloup melon. However, there is a nicely developed greener side as well with lime and green papaya. All that fresh fruit works wonders, especially with some simple sourdough tartines with ricotta. Terrific value is to be had.

Robert Princic's 2014 Collio Pinot Grigio delivers an attractive mix of mineral and fresh citrus aromas. The wine is fresh, energetic and tonic, with a lean texture and crisp acidity. The overall presentation is streamlined and easy going.
