Fragrant as dry Moscatel should be, with aromas of the tropics, pineapple and lychee. The palate is forward and clean, with pineapple, lychee, green banana and nutmeg flavors. This floral dry Moscatel is losing steam by the day, so I recommend seeking out the 2009 version. But if you do come across this vintage, you can expect grassy aromas mixed with fading white fruit notes. The palate is weighty, with medium acidity.
