The ruby colored 1999 Pinot Noir Abbey Ridge Vineyard has black cherry and white pepper aromas. It is light to medium-bodied, sexy, and gorgeously opulent. Silky-textured layers of black cherries and black raspberries are found in its harmonious personality, as well as throughout its extensive finish. Medium-bodied and satin-textured, this wine has lovely palate presence, exhibited by loads of dark fruit flavors that coat the taster's mouth. It is firmly structured and will require patience.
