The 2008 Casa Benesal Elegant is a blend of 40% Monastrell, 30% Garnacha Tintorera, and 30% Syrah aged in 10% new oak for 12 months. Fresh herbs (thyme and sage), a hint of balsamic, underbrush, blueberry, and plum lead to a savory, ripe, smooth-textured, plush red that will provide enjoyment over the next 6-8 years.
