The 2011 Barolo by the team at Paolo Mazone is a ripe and accessible expression of Nebbiolo. It offers black fruit aromas of dried blackberry and Morello cherry with red rose and grilled herb. The wine finishes with sweet tannins and bold fruit flavors. Only 3,000 bottles were made.

A dense, chewy red, featuring menthol, tar, cherry and plum aromas and flavors. A bit of a monolith today, yet retains the sweet fruit and flesh necessary to offset the beefy tannins. Best from 2015 through 2030. 500 cases made.??–BS??Region: Italy / Piedmont / Barolo Select to Add
