The 2004 Rasteau Vieilles Vignes is much more evolved than the 2005 but cut from the same mold. Deep ruby/plum/purple with notes of chocolate, creme de cassis, kirsch liqueur, and plenty of licorice and scorched earth, it is medium to full-bodied, much softer than the 2005, and ideal for drinking over the next 5-6 years.
