The 1992 Josephshofer Riesling Auslese is dry for the level of ripeness it exhibits. It is a superbly concentrated wine, with extraordinary clarity and admirable balance and length. A terrific Riesling, it should drink well for 7-8 years.Based on the limited sampling I had of Von Kesselstatt's 1992s, this looks to be one of the vintage's best performers. The three wines I sampled are brilliant expressions of Riesling. Importer: Vintage Wine Cellars, Niles, IL.
