The 2015 Chianti Classico Riserva is a pure expression of Sangiovese that offers a beautifully balanced and fresh experience. This is a mid-weight wine with pretty contours of forest berry and wild rose with heavier tones of tobacco and tilled earth at the back. Wines from this sunny vintage tend to be very fruit-forward and exuberant, but this wine holds back just a bit. Dusty mineral notes appear on the finish. Serve it with rice-stuffed tomatoes. Some 20,000 bottles were made.

The 2013 Chianti Classico Riserva is an elegant and nuanced wine from a classic vintage that was particularly kind to late-ripening Sangiovese. This is a crisply delineated wine that offers sharp aromas of forest berry, cassis and dried cranberry. It ages in barrel for two years. There are hints of grilled herb or camphor essence that give extra buoyancy and definition to the elegant bouquet. Some 40,000 bottles were made in this vintage.

A pure expression of Sangiovese (aged in barrique for two years), the 2012 Chianti Classico Riserva reveals tight stitching with sharp aromas of wild berry, cassis, blackberry, spice and crushed granite. This is a medium-bodied wine with great persistence and good aging potential. The wine's natural structure and acidity sets the stage for a ten-year drinking window.
