The 1989 Barolo Vigna Francesco, from a tiny sub-vineyard of Annunziata in La Morra, exhibits attractive earthy, cherry, and herbal scents in its fragrant bouquet, ripe, rich, full-bodied flavors, soft tannin, and a heady, alcoholic finish. Forward and seductive, it will easily last for 10-15 years.Given how good the wines of this producer performed, I am surprised they are not more readily found in export markets. No known American importer.
