The 2005 Artist Series La Boheme is a wine made in the better vintages. It is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and 15% Syrah. Made in an elegant style, the wine has attractive flavors, good balance, and solid length. It will evolve for several years and be at its best from 2010 to 2018. Michael and Laura Laurent Mrachek began as fruit growers. They saw wine grapes as a way to diversify, all of which led to a winery on the Wahluke Slope near the Columbia River.
