The medium to full-bodied 2015 Envoy Outpost Vineyard Pinot Noir is sturdy and plummy, with plenty of weight and concentration. All that fruit is framed by ample new French oak, which adds a dusty component, particularly on the finish. I expect that will resolve within another year or two, after which it should drink well for 5 more years.

Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2014 Envoy Outpost Vineyard Pinot Noir offers a nose of black cherries, black raspberries and cinnamon stick with a touch of chocolate box. The medium-bodied palate offers good concentration with nicely balanced soft tannins and acidity, finishing with a spicy lift.

Medium ruby colored with a touch of purple, the 2012 Envoy Outpost Pinot Noir is youthfully reticent on the nose with subtle earthy notes of underbrush, fungi and tree bark over the red plum and mulberry core. There's a lot on offer in the mouth with the red berry flavors complimented by medium levels of chewy tannins and refreshing acid. It finishes long and earthy.

Pale to medium ruby in color, the 2011 Envoy Outpost Pinot Noir still has plenty of red cherry and red currant primary fruit with evolving nuances emerging of Ceylon tea, truffles, earth and incense plus a waft of menthol. Light to medium-bodied, it fills the mouth with elegantly perfumed fruit, supported by grainy tannins and great freshness, finishing long and multilayered.

Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2010 Envoy Outpost Pinot Noir has a nose of red plums, pomegranate and black raspberries with touches of game, Provence herbs, marmite and soy. Medium to full bodied and with mouth-filling berry and savory flavor layers, it has a good backbone of finely grained tannins and great freshness, finishing long. It should drink best 2013 to 2018+.
